I'm blasting Turkish music in the office right now, trying to drown out my drunken co-workers radio, but no matter how much I turn up the volume, I still can't seem to avoid the vibrations of Rush Limbaugh's big fat voice bouncing off the wall.
Can someone please punch me in the ears?

Today while on my lunch break, I spotted a young gent carrying a television. I was slightly curious, so I gave him a second look. Upon further inspection, I noticed a large red and black arm tattoo that said JUGGALO! I laughed out loud, but soon realized that my lunch buddies had no idea what I was talking about.
Total bummer.

I feel like garbage today. I need a couch and some cold medicine real bad.
Can you even take cold meds if you're already on anti-biotics? I should know this stuff by now, but I never used to get sick.
I really need summer to get here.

| Another Journey |

Over the weekend I picked up a copy of Esalen: America and the Religion of No Religion. I have been dying to read this book for almost a year now. Sadly, I've never been to Esalen but it's on my ever growing list of places to experience in the near future. Everything about the place seems magical to me.
I've been past Esalen several times during visits to Big Sur, but I've never had the chance to stay and experience the infamous hot springs, a massage, or one of their life changing workshops. Without getting into it too much, I'd say these pictures alone pretty much sum up why I need to go there.

If any of you have ever been to Esalen, I'd love to hear your stories and experiences! For now, I'll continue reading and saving my money for the big trip. <3

Hey fiber friends, please stop by Fiber Artists United and take a look at the lovely medallions that Bernadette has put together for the Fiber Artists United For Peace Project.
I love the sentiment so much that I had to have one for myself. Mine will get attached to my Ashford spinning wheel, like a charm added to a bracelet. It's a wonderful reminder of what is good in this world and if we all work together, we can make a difference.

HAPPY FRIDAY!!!

It's...

Well, maybe not yet, but it will be soon!
I'm looking forward to a nice simple evening spent inside, sippin' brews, and listening to some new records. I really should do some cleaning, but I'm a great procrastinator and I'm sure I'll get around to that another day.
HAPPY WEEKEND Y'ALLZ

Stolen from kewpiecat!
The first five people to respond to this post will get something made by me! My choice. For you.
This offer does have some restrictions and limitations: - I make no guarantees that you will like what I make! - What I create will be just for you. - It'll be done this year. (might be a little while) - You have no clue what it's going to be. It may be a story. It may be poetry. I may draw or paint something. I may bake you something and mail it to you. Who knows? Not you, that's for sure! - I reserve the right to do something extremely strange.
The catch? Oh, the catch is that you have to repost. We can all make stuff!!
